SNOW SHOVELING FOR SENIORS
The goal of the program is to assign a student volunteer to every senior on Staten Island who requires the service. We currently recruiting volunteers ( 13 or older ) from all schools on Staten Island. Each student will be responsible to shovel one senior citizen home each time it snows. This service will be offered free of charge to the seniors. In return the student volunteer will receive 10 hours of community service and a letter of recognition from the Borough President. Seniors ( 62 or older ) can register for the program by calling 347-273-1371. If we recruit a volunteer to service your home you will be contacted by our office.
