To All,

We had a very busy day.

First we received a $250 donation from Empire State Bank (see attached). We would like to personally thank Mr. Guarnieri for his generosity and the Bankís concern for the well being of our Staten Island neighborhoods.

We also have two artists who have stepped forward and will be painting our first two murals.

Scott LoBaido

Annette Riordan

We also have begun to have groups volunteering to clean up areas that we identified in last nights e-mail (see below) it is great to see the wide range of volunteering organizations interested in the graffiti problem on Staten Island. We hope more will follow.

I spoke at the Staten Island Life Member Club this afternoon and our program was very well received.

I will also be speaking at

The 122 Precinct Community Council Meeting on 3/18. 8:00 PM at the 122 Precinct

The 123 Precinct Community Council Meeting on 3/19. 8:00 PM at The Korean Evangelical Church 333 Arden Avenue

We have also been invited by the SIEDC to speak at their business breakfast on 4/16.

We also dropped off paint and supplies to Mr. Falcone of Jefferson Blvd. as he and his neighbors have adopted a wall on their corner that is constantly being hit.

St. Peterís Boys High School also called to say that they will be adopting blocks around the school to keep litter and graffiti free.

We hope other schools and organizations will follow these leads.

We also had our third defendant referred to us by the Staten Island Criminal Court and will have them all serve their sentences by doing graffiti cleanups.

We still need volunteers for the other locations listed below. We hope to hear from you.
