From Tue Apr 29, 2008 3:00 am to Fri May 02, 2008 2:59 am (included)
Let me begin by thanking you for all of your support for this and our other Where to Turn programs.
The Staten Island Advance reported yesterday that the mayor’s office will be making it possible for people to file their graffiti waivers on line.
This will make it a lot easier for most victims to get their waivers in and we applaud the mayor for this initiative.
Unfortunately as usual there are a few things that we would ask as well.
As you know Councilman Oddo’s Office and Where to Turn have been collecting waivers from Staten Islanders and passing them on to CAU.
We have been cleaning up as many of these sites as we can and notifying CAU.
Under the online process we will no longer be aware of locations on Staten Island that need our assistance.
To rectify that situation would it be possible for Where to Turn to receive copies of the Staten Island waivers submitted or a weekly report of waiver submissions.
Better yet would we be able to have read only access to the database.
To date we have cleaned up over 60 locations and hope to clean another 50 in the month of May.
Any help you may lend would be greatly appreciated.
We will continue to forward waivers as we receive them.
Finally would it be possible to supply us with paint and supplies for this weekend’s cleanup.
We have been unsuccessful in obtaining paint vouchers despite numerous requests and we need to know if we have to once again pay for supplies for our scheduled cleanups.
We will be able to pick up the paint on Friday if it is available.
Thank you for your continued support.
