We cleaned up 4 locations today prior to the rain.

This brings our total to 92. We have over 30 locations pending and have referred 27 to the clean team and the Mayor’s CAU.

Since we have still not gotten anywhere with the graffiti truck we went out today and purchased the most powerful power washer we could find.

It is 3800 PSI with a GPM rating of 4.0

Since our grant application was rejected by Lowes we used the money contributed by PS 373R and the local community groups. We went to Home Depot and the manager gave us a 10% discount so it wound up costing $900.

We will take it out for a trial run tomorrow and then take care of any locations that have been waiting for the truck (as long as we have an outside water source.

We will be using it on weekends and will make it available to the 3 precincts during the week.

We will also be calling each precinct to set up our summer schedule as we would like to schedule at least one outing each weekend throughout the summer.

We will us our student volunteers for some cleanups and we will use the offenders sentenced to community service for others.

We currently have five offenders who need to do a total 45 days of cleanups.

We also received a call from Family Court yesterday as they heard what we were doing with the Criminal Court offenders.

They asked if they could begin sentencing and sending juvenile offenders through Where to Turn.

Of course we agreed so it appears we will have quite a few cleaners at our disposal.

We really need help in getting additional waivers and hope everyone is spreading the word.

As always your help with our new initiative would be greatly appreciated.(see link below)

Also any help you may lend is assisting Rose Gray would also be appreciated,
