100,000 T-Shirts for Haiti

We are asking individuals, schools, businesses and organizations to hold T-Shirt Collection Drives.

Our goal is to collect 100,000 T-Shirts for Haiti victims.

So if you have extra t-shirts, from your school or from an event or just extra ones that you bought but don’t wear please get them to us.

We will arrange pick up or you can drop them off at 150-L Greaves Lane.

Or click the link below for additional drop off locations

http://www.where-to-turn.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=89

In addition we are also going to set up an account at Where to Turn which will accept donations specifically for the purchase and transport of T Shirts and supplies to Haiti.

100% of whatever is collected will go to cover only these costs and nothing else. (except for a small service charge for credit card donations)

We will collect T Shirts through March 21 and work with other organizations to coordinate shipping at the end of March.

Tax deductible donations can be sent to

Where to Turn
150-L Greaves Lane # 312
Staten Island, NY 10308

Please note Haiti Relief on your check

Credit card donations can be made through the Network for Good

At our website www.where-to-turn.org

or

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children offers tips on keeping children safe:
  • Make sure you know where each of your children is at all times.
  • Be involved in their activities and give them lots of attention and supervision.
  • Listen to them, especially if they talk about people they don't want to be around.
  • Teach them they can say no to unwelcome actions or touching by others.
  • Be sensitive to changes in their behavior or attitudes.
  • Screen babysitters and caregivers. Check references and sexual offender registries.
More tips and information can be found at www.missingkids.com or by calling 1-800-843-5678
