From Feb 20, 2013 to Feb 22, 2013 (included)
|To date we have received 72 applications.
Only 9 of them had mold remediation documentation ans complete requirements.
We have made a deal with Home Depot and they not only gave us a great discount but they will also deliver for free.
The 9 applicants that completed their applications should be hearing from Home Depot in the next few days.
There were two major issues with submissions
Incomplete requirements (we need to know how many sheets and what size 1/2 inch 5/8 etc)
No documentation of mold remediation.
No application will be processed without this.
If work was done by a company or volunteer group you need to contact them for documentation
If you had work done or did it yourself and do not have documentation you need to call 311 and make an appointment to have a representative from the Mayor's program come and inspect your work.
They will give you a certificate.
This may seem like an inconvenience but we are doing this for your own good.
If you have no proof of mold remediation and live in a flood zone it will be almost impossible to sell your house in the future without a certificate of mold remediation.
Lack of this will scare buyers away or you may have to pay for an inspection or may have to remediate all over again.
Just to let everyone know we will hold applications for a month for missing information.
